Balsamic vinegar is made from fresh white grape juice that is reduced by approximately 30% and aged. To be true balsamic vinegar, it must be made in Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, where balsamic vinegar has been made since the middle ages. Our premium balsamic vinegars are aged at least 12 years with many varieties aged over 18 years. These quality balsamic vinegars are perfect for drizzling over savory or sweet foods for a sweet-tart kick. Make a thick balsamic glaze by reducing over a low heat to create a mouthwatering combination with meats, fresh berries or fresh mozzarella cheese.
