Our premium naturally aged traditional balsamic vinegar simply is the best and most versatile. Balsamic vinegar is made from the juice of just-harvested white grapes (typically, Trebbiano grapes) boiled down to approximately 30% of its original volume to create a concentrate (or must), and it has been made in Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, since the middle ages.

Produced in the traditional fashion and aged for up to 18 years in oak barrels using solera techniques, our Traditional Balsamic vinegar is certified and is one of the finest from Modena, Italy. Because of the arduous production process, only a limited amount of traditional balsamic vinegars make it to the US market each year and Olive Oil & Beyond is very proud to be able to offer a large variety of premium balsamic. This luxurious balsamic vinegar is sweet and smooth with its age, and can be used in a number of ways. Drizzle it over savory foods or desserts for a sweet-tart kick. Reduce it over a very low heat to make a thick balsamic sauce for meats or fresh berries. Or pair it with a fine extra virgin olive oil for an amazing vinaigrette or dip. We recommend our Italian Nocellara, Ravece, Greek Koroneiki or Spanish Organic Picual extra virgins as premium partners for this gourmet balsamic. Mix with our Blood Orange extra virgins for slightly fruity and tart vinaigrette over baby spinach and baby kale.
