HOME MADE PEPERONCINO HOT SAUCE, Red Pepper Sauce used to be called Hot Sauce, Piccantina in Italian. Today's Red Pepper sauce is barely hot but still has a kick, and it is one of our and our customers' favorite sauces. From the Italian region that is famous for hot peppers, this delicious spicy chili paste is made by crushing Calabrian peperoncino " Dried Peppers " with extra virgin olive oil. Absolutely delicious and well balanced flavor between all the (organically) grown vegetables makes this a winner for all palates. Fattoria Umbra also has a very nice extra virgin olive oil that really helps make all their sauces.
Suggested use:
Add directly to pasta, eggs, meat, or bread. Or use to add flavor to a homemade tomato sauce.
Pairing Suggestion: Add as much or as little as you like to give layer of savory flavor to pasta sauces, eggs, vegetables, meat or bread. It is a ture flavor enhancer.
