Moresca is native to eastern Sicily from the fruits of its rich volcanic soil that contribute to the unique terrain in the region. It is a true example of harmony & intensity. Moresca is also set apart from others by its prestigious D.O.P. It is regional, seasonal, most coveted italian variety. FLAVOR PROFILE: The Moresca variety allows producing moderately fruity oil that presents interesting scents of grass and or myrtle leaf .The pleasant taste of green tomato is persistent and distinguishing. It is predominantly sweet but is accompanied by distinctive bitter and spicy hints.
