Paccheri is a large, tubular pasta typically from the Campania region of southern Italy. This delicious example comes from the Gentile factory in Gragnano, the ancient pasta-making city of the Naples area. The use of exceptional ingredients and the traditional methods used make for excellent flavor and amazing presentation at the dinner table.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: Paccheri are a versatile shape of pasta, and can be used with any sauce. When in Umbria, the Paccheri are prepared with a tomato meat sauce, stuffed, covered with grated pecorino (sheep cheese) and baked.
