GIRRAFFA HIGH QUALITY EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
It is an estate grown 100% mono varietal "Giarraffa." Also called Giarraffella. This is an ancient cultivar and indigenous to western Sicily that earned gold medal in multi international olive oil competition. It is a true expression of love and craftsmanship of a hard working family. Handpicked and crushed within 4 hours after harvest. Our award winning grower use only sustainable methods, harvested by hand at optimum ripeness, and closely monitored during every phase of the milling process. It is also highly valued as a table olive. Its production scared and very limited. It exhibits a high concentration of natural nutrients like phenolic compound and oleic acid.
To the eye, this gorgeous oil has a light green and golden color, To the nose, it is a perfume of heirloom tomatoes and fresh herbs, with a strong finish of raw apple, lettuce. To the palate, it is a perfect example of harmony & intensity
It is an excellent choice for finish. Use it to finish either raw or steamed vegetables to easily add healthy flavor. It is a great choice to use with fish, as its flavor won’t overpower.
