Description   Our Boscaiola Sauce Mix contains all you need to make a delicious and authentically Italian meal! Roughly translating to in the style of the woodsman, the Boscaiola mix from Calabria contains dried eggplant, onions, Porcini mushrooms, tomato flakes, bell peppers, garlic, parsley and oregano. PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: Our Boscaiola Sauce Mix is so easy to make - simply reconstitute in a cup of hot water, sautee in premium extra virgin olive oil (like our Spanish Hojiblanca or Italian Leccino), add canned tomatoes and let it simmer. Boscaiola is traditionally served over a short pasta, like Penne; we love it with our Penne Gragnano from Gentile, or with our Mezze Penne from Marella, but it is also gorgeous over our frilly Mafalde.
