Description
White balsamic vinegars are made by blending fine white wine vinegar with young traditional balsamic vinegar. Our premium white balsamic have the sweetness characteristic of balsamic vinegar and some of the tartness and consistency characteristic of white wine vinegar. Light amber in color, our white balsamic are ideal for use in salads where the qualities of balsamic are desired, but the dark brown color of a traditional balsamic is not. The love and dedication that goes into producing this exquisite example of balsamic vinegar has led to its P.G.I certification, which stands for Protected Geographical Indication; it is a high honor in the country with some of the world's highest standards for its food products. A P.G.I. certification ensures that the balsamic vinegar is made according to traditional, time-honored methods, using only approved ingredients and is produced in Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. This certification stands for exceptional quality and a deep love for producing only the finest traditional balsamic vinegars in the world.
Grown mainly in southern Italy, bergamots are part of the citrus family, a cross between a Meyer lemon and a grapefruit. When mixed with the bright, zesty flavor of the lime, the result is a crisp, tart and refreshing combination.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
Because of its fresh citrus flavor, our Bergamot & Lime White Balsamic is delicious sprinkled over fresh fruits and berries. Pair with our Ravece Rotondela or Cardinale Italy extra virgin olive oils and splash on peppery arugula or crisp romaine for a light and delicious salad. To make a refreshing drink, splash some Bergamot & Lime White in a glass of sparkling water, add ice and enjoy!
