Our DOP Reserve & Stone Ground Raggiola is handpicked & custom crushed within 4 hours after harvest for OO&B. It is a gold medal winner. Raggiola is native to Pesaro the town and community in the Italian region of Marche, Capital of the Urbino Province on the Adriatic side. The Adriatic Sea breath contributes to the unique terroir in the region. It is a true example of harmony & intensity.

Flavor Profile:
This varietal exhibits an intense green overtone with unforgettable scents of apple, walnut husk and rip banana. It is predominantly green but it is accompanied by distinctive bitter and spicy hint. Our Raggiola set apart from others by its prestigious D.O.P. designation. D.O.P. stands for Protected Designation of Origin—a high honor in the country with the world’s highest standards for olive oil, in an area renowned for its olive oil for centuries.

Pairing Suggestion:
It is an excellent choice for finish. Use it to finish either raw or steamed vegetables to easily add healthy flavor. It is a great choice to use with fish, as its flavor won’t overpower. Pair it with our Reserve Blackberry & Ginger or Pear Balsamic vinegars to dress dark green salads or with our Reserve Mango or Saffron over sea foods. Mix it with our 12 years Aged Traditional Balsamic for Lamb or pork Chop and steak.
